Description

Microsoft Architect - London - Contract Inside IR35 - £818 per day

The Key Responsibilities of a Microsoft Architect:

  • Produce build and configuration documentation through update to Detailed Design Documentation (DDD)
  • Verify network and infrastructure prerequisites are in place
  • Support raising of IT service management CRQ
  • Install and configure the new Always on VPN solution in both test and production environments
  • Support relevant elements of system and migration testing
  • Verify patching and management function are operational
  • Support testing activities including Penetration Testing, defect management and remediation
  • Produce knowledgebase documentation to include 1st, 2nd & 3rd tiers
  • Conduct knowledge transfer/training to support ELS and BAU teams
  • Support pilot and phased migration
  • Support project team in their deliverables
  • Engage with third-party technical stakeholders
  • Support decommissioning
  • Oversee third-party suppliers in production of:
    • ITOC Playbook
    • Drawing up ITSC
    • Service Detailed Design Documentation (SDD)"

Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Microsoft Architect, however you will not be expected to have everything:

  • Proven IT infrastructure experience
  • Familiar with change management processes
  • Good understanding of cyber vulnerabilities
  • Strong senior stakeholder engagement experience - both IT and business stakeholders
  • Heathrow experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Should be familiar with analysing, designing and integrating policies, standards and tools
  • Be familiar with a wide range of technologies
  • Ability to process & simplify complexity into pragmatic, understandable and communicable output
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to be used in client-side team/working context

Income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.
