SC Cleared Service Desk Analyst - Glasgow - 6 months+
MS Office, ITIL, SLA, Network, Software support, PC/MAC
An opportunity has arisen for a number of SC Cleared Service Desk Analysts based near Glasgow on an initial 6-month contract.
Responsibilities will range from using remote access software to assist customers resolving issues around print, network connectivity and software issues as well as assisting field engineers for IT support and problem/fault resolution.
Working within a team responsible for IT, Software and Network service tickets with a strong emphasis on first time resolution and customer support.
Hours will be shift based 08:00 - 18:00, Inside IR35 (via Umbrella) and be predominantly onsite with some remote work being possible.
Key skills
- Understanding of basic network terminology and infrastructure topology, eg Router, IP Addressing, basic DNS, SMTP,SNMP, IPV4, SMB, WAN & VPN
- PC and MAC experience in configuring advanced print features incl. secure print and enhanced tray configurations
- Experience in utilising remote management applications to diagnose, investigate and resolve faults/consumable consumption/diagnose predictive parts (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in troubleshooting Hardware/PC/Printer/Network related faults (essential)
