Vertex IT Solutions is working with one of Europe's largest Managed Service Providers. We have multiple contract opportunities across various levels for SC Security Cleared Engineers from Tier 1 - Tier 3 Support.
Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Duration: 6 - 8 Months
Rates (INSIDE):
Tier 1 £135 PD
Tier 2 £170 PD
Tier 3 £190 PD
Team Lead £300 PD (between 5-10 reports)
Shift Pattern: Rates vary depending on shifts.
Requirements: Current SC Security Clearance or Prior SC Clearance. (considering non-SC)
Core Competencies:
Networking infrastructure topology, eg Router, IP Addressing, basic DNS, SMTP, SNMP, IPV4, SMB, WAN & VPN
Experience in troubleshooting Hardware/PC/Printer/Network related faults (essential)
Window and MAC experience (desired)
Experience in configuring advanced print features incl. secure print and enhanced tray configurations
Experience of a client focused helpdesk environment
Experience in utilising remote management applications to diagnose, investigate and resolve faults/consumable consumption/diagnose predictive parts
