Description

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Technical Azure resources for one of their Public sector Clients based in Remote.

  • Candidates must hold active SC clearance or NPPV3
  • Candidate should have Active SC Clearance
  • Location: Remote may be some limited travel to London
  • IR35 - This role is inside of IR35

Job Description:

  • Capgemini is building an Azure Technical Team - considering of people with various skills and experience to support our clients ambitions in leveraging the Azure platform as part of the their transformation journey.
  • Initially we need a team of 8 resources who are experts in one or more areas of Azure.
  • No two projects are ever the same as we support all business sectors. As a Platform Engineer, you will be expected to have the knowledge, confidence and capability to assist our clients in realising their cloud strategy. This would include:
  • Undertaking cross-functional engineering projects, working in small teams with other engineers in different knowledge spheres, building supportable, sustainable and reliable services
  • Defining and maintaining technical designs according to cloud best practices and ensuring they are deployed correctly in the Cloud environment whilst championing automation for
  • Working with great engineers on large scale, technically challenging projects - it's all about people at the end of the day.
  • Using leading-edge technology - our clients are constantly looking to take cloud technology further, leveraging open source technology, CI/CD, and modern software architectures such as microservices, to name but a few.
  • Constantly learning through modern platforms and the opportunity to attend conferences, support tech meetups, take part in hackathons, gain industry recognised certification and much, much more.
  • We seek to create a team that can cover the following areas, across the 8 initial roles we have. All candidates must have core appreciate of Azure, Azure Monitor and Wintel technologies. Candidates must then have two or more of the remaining skills areas listed.

Key Skills required:

  • Core Azure platform infrastructure (including networking) - ALL MUST HAVE
  • Wintel skills - ALL MUST HAVE
  • Azure Monitor - ALL MUST HAVE
  • Linux in Azure - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Log Analytics and Reporting - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE

Application Migrations

  • Azure Migrate tool (4)
  • Azure Migration experience (4)

Azure Automated Deployments

  • Azure DevOpS - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • PowerShell (inc DSC and Workflow) - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • ARM Templates - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Other deployment tools (Jenkins, Terraform, etc) - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE

Azure Services Skills

  • Data & AI Consulting (Azure Synapse/Data Lakes/Data Factory) - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Kubernetes Services - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Cost Optimization - AT LEAST 1 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Virtual Desktop - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Network Security - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE
  • Azure Active Directory - AT LEAST 2 MUST HAVE.
