Our client, a market leading multi-national technology consultancy are looking for a CMDB Manager, to join them on a customer-based project based Remote. The assignment is an initial 4-month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate via Umbrella Role.
Essential skills and experience:
The Configuration Management Lead's primary objective is to own and maintain the Configuration Management process.
Responsibility:
- Defines the overall mission of the process
- Establishes and communicates the process mission, goals, and objectives to all stakeholders
- Documents and maintains the process and procedures
- Resolves any cross-functional (departmental) issues
- Assures consistent execution of the process across the organization
- Monitors, measures, and reports on the effectiveness of the process to senior management
- Continually improves the process
- Reviews and initially approves changes to the data model
- Cooperates with other stakeholders in review and approvals for changes to the Data model.
- Supports Configuration Manager in implementing changes across environment as process champion
