Description
Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Paisley, is currently looking to recruit a Junior Desktop Analyst for an initial contract until the end of March 2022 on a rate of £115/day (inside of IR35). This role will be based in Paisley with some travel required as well as some working from home.Responsibilities:
- Support the build, delivery and installation of IT hardware (Desktop PC's) in offices across organisation's estate as part of a Windows 10 Desktop Refresh Project.
- These installations will range from single devices to individual areas/departments to larger volumes as part of project related deployment.
Essential Skills:
- Have either relevant technical education of qualification or at least 2 years of IT experience within specialist area.
- Essential Degree/HND in IT or associated discipline with at least 2 years' experience in Desktop support role, field or call centre based, project or service support
Or
- Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems, or Microsoft applications or HP/Dell/Lexmark hardware certification
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to liaise effectively with Senior Internal and External Managers is essential
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport
Desirable Skills:
- Qualified in ITIL IT Service Management
- Additional HP/Dell/Lexmark/(other vendor) hardware training/certification
- Knowledge of O365 would also be advantageous
