Our client is an NHS Trust who are looking to recruit a dynamic Information Analyst with good SQL skills. This is an exciting time for the Trust after the implementation of a new EPR (Cerner), and Power BI. Using this new software will allow for further automation of reports, and allow the team to focus on predictive modelling, improved data quality, monitor outcomes and support operational managers with performance decisions and Pathway management.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide interpretation of key indicators and translate data into clear messages to support decision making. Where data suggests that there is room for improvement the Senior Information Analyst will be expected to present this information in a clear and unambiguous manner.
The candidate will also have to demonstrate experience in a similar role, ideally within a healthcare setting and be an experienced user of Excel, SQL and Power BI. They must be able to extract, interpret and present data in a clear and concise format, translating complex technical data into information. They will have excellent communication skills - both verbally and written and be an effective team player.
