I am currently working with a leading vendor who are looking for a VDI consultant who specialises in Horizon (versions 8 and 7). They are looking for someone to start immediately and the Consultant must ideally be SC Cleared.
VMware Consultant - Key Responsibilities:
- Create a new environment for a major customer, the role is responsible for build work to implement secure virtual desktops using VMware Horizon.
- Support architect in developing and documenting high level design using given methodology, tools and templates.
- Provide support and guidance to development of test plans, test scripts, test harnesses, etc.
- Deploy Horizon to provide a desktop virtualization foundation
- Leverage CA signed certificates for Horizon Connection Servers
- Leverage NSX for server load balancing
- Leverage NSX to microsegment Horizon virtual desktop workloads
- Leverage NSX to protect Horizon management components
- Leverage Horizon to create virtual desktop pools
