Description
Our client is rolling out SAP GTS in relation to the Export Control functionality of SAP GTS. A template has been build which is about to be deployed in Sweden, Norway, and Switzerland. The template is part of the SAP landscape and will be rolled out to other countries following the SAP roadmap. Our client need support with the roll out of the solution.
The rollout would require the following activities to be performed by GTS resource:
- Fit gap of the GTS design for the new rollout countries
- Creating/updating of design documents to cover the new business requirements.
- Configuration of the new requirements into the SAP GTS template
- Updating the GTS configuration documentation
- Updating functional and technical specifications for enhancements where SAP GTS is not able to support the requirements
- based on standard configuration (actual developments will be performed by Client developers)
- Supporting in the creation of test scripts
- Support in creation training materials (mainly updating existing materials)
- Supporting in execution of the test script (sign off by the test scripts is performed by Client resources)
- Execution of cutover activities in to bring the solution into production
- Support during hyper care and provides fixes for potential errors
- Handover of the solution to the support organization of Client
These services are required for rollout of the template in several countries starting in Europe, then Asia and Americas.
Template enhancements in roadmap where design & configuration in GTS is needed:
- SPL screening of suppliers and banks involved in payment transactions
- Integration from GTS to MDG for GTS modification of Export Control Indication on materials to be updated in MDG and Prodmast
- Implement workflow for classification of new products and release them for sales
- Template changes to manage EAR99 classfications
