Pay - Negotiable dependent on experience inside of IR35

The Role:
We are looking for architects who will be able to use their industry experience and subject knowledge to provide services in market development, client delivery and capability.
The duties will include working with colleagues to identify and develop specific engagement opportunities translating potential demand into engagements. Developing strong client relationships, understanding business problems and identifying commercials. Managing and coordinating internal risk/engagement management processes, developing high-level plans, budget calculations etc. Leading engagement, good stakeholder management and provide an insight across a range of technology areas.
Experience/Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of relevant government standards, policies and procedures
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering architectures in line with Government Digital Service policies and standards for various clients
- Digital and Cloud migration from "On Prem" to Public Cloud or Multi-Cloud platform experience is desirable
- Knowledge of common Operating Systems, Networking concepts, Databases, iaaS, PaaS and SaaS
- Experience of working on large complex, multi-year, business and technology transformation programmes in an advisory or consulting capacity
- Capability to build new and leverage existing client relationships to drive the Cloud Architecture business
- Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship skills at C suite level, both internally and externally
- Security first - How to design, migrate and embed security control's in Cloud solutions
- Proven skills in Enterprise or Cloud architecture including defining or utilising TOGAF (or equivalent) standards as well as Agile delivery methodologies
- Evident experience working collaboratively with multiple capabilities from DevOps to Data Science
- Ability to have deep technical level discussions with engineers, to explain the business range of technologies to non-technical partners and clients who have business issues to overcome
- Track record of working with IGH clients at a Skills for the Information Age levels 6 and 7 - Initiate/Influence and Set Strategy/Inspire
