Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Looking for a Kubernetes engineer with GCP knowledge to migrate applications to Cloud and build, test, maintain, monitor and CI/CD tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software.
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
To work along with the customer team in
a) Migrating application to cloud.
b) Containerize apps or migrate containers from one cloud
c) Create/optimize existing CI/CD pipelines using IaC and GitOps principles and similar activities
Move pipelines from On prem CI/CD to Jenkins - GitHub env in cloud
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Technical Requirements
Strong GitHub/Gitlab etc. administrator experience,
Hands-on 2+ experience as Kubernetes administrator/power user
Ideally CKA certified
Deep understanding of service mesh, K8s networking layer, security policies, Gatekeeper (policy as code ) etc.
Ability to create/customize k8s operators, manage & optimize stateful workloads. Manage k8s in a multi tenant and multi cluster environment.
Experience required:
Strong Experience in Kubernetes admin and stakeholder management and involved in at-least 2 Large Project implementations

ie Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive.
