iOS Engineer - £450 per day Inside IR35 - 6 Month Contract - London/RemoteOverview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand who's work benefit us all and the natural world. Our client have a flexible approach to home working but will require 2 days in the London office.
We are seeking a skilled End User Engineer to provide Mac & OSiOS support, troubleshooting and solving a diverse range of problems along with building new devices using Jamf (with DEP). This is a varied role and will also play an integral part of various projects across the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To provide support to 1st/2nd line support teams with operational support issues when escalated.
- Assist internal teams with configuration of iPads to be used in exhibitions and public facing displays.
- Patching and deployment software packages, updates and patches as and when required.
- Be the technical lead for Mac OS upgrade activities.
- Mac OS build image maintenance & configuration.
- iOS device policy management.
- Managing Mac OSiOS devices using Jamf.
- Managing Apple DEP and VPP.
- To work directly with Project managers and key stakeholders in a direct and adaptable manner.
- To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required from time to time, including out of hours working.
- 2/3 years' experience of macOS support in an enterprise environment.
- 2/3 years' experience of iOS device support & configuration.
- Experience of Jamf device & user policy management.
- Experience of application packaging and deployment to Mac OS via Jamf.
- Hands on experience of mass user Mac OS upgrades.
- Working in an AgileDevOps environment.
- Ability to understand and characterise the different service needs of the diverse divisions and user personas within the organisation.
- Customer focused and results driven.
- Jamf qualification.
