Methods are recruiting for an experience Finance Lead/Finance Programme Lead/Financial Lead to work with us for one of our key Public Sector clients.
This is an initial 12 month contract engagement and we need people with active SC Clearance and also with Central Government experience.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
- Experience leading major Finance programme and portfolios and have experience working on billion pound programmes (Clients largest programme is 11bn)
- You will be heavily involved in managing the programme but also support the Programme Director and SRO
- Ensuring the portfolio has sound financial governance and ensure funding envelopes within existing budgets are utilised to deliver within monetary constraints
- Be expected to lead the finance team of circa 15 personnel developing their finance capabilities to build a dynamic and positive team culture that can satisfy multiple and sometimes challenging demands
- Develop and present financial insight and analysis to programme Boards and business boards in a way that facilitates effective prioritisation and strategic alignment.
- Lead the programmes preparation for key fiscal events including spending reviews and Police Settlement, lead and maintain key relationships with close organisations, devolved administrations and other government departments
