Junior Embedded Security Engineer

Initial 6 month contract + extensions
The Competent Center Crypto & Security at our client is an R&D department responsible for the development of new security concepts. This long term innovation activity targets different sectors such as the automotive sector or IoT applications. Their current centre of interest encompasses topics such as post quantum crypto or security machine learning.
The Junior Embedded Security Engineer will strengthen this team of researchers and be assigned to specific projects depending on his/her expertise/experience. Ideal candidates would be educated in the field of, mathematics, computer sciences or even engineering and with a PhD focusing on security/cryptography problematics. Alternatively, a young Master with a passion for the field, for example as a hobby, could also be considered. In general, candidates should have an understanding of cybersecurity, network security or cryptography and know how to program Embedded systems. C and python are the most commonly used languages in the team but this specific knowledge in not a requirement
