Description
My client are seeking an Applications Technical Architect for an initial 3 month contract role based in Southampton (candidates who are able to commute daily to Southampton are preferred).
Key skills and experience required for the role:
- Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools and standards.
- Cloud and infrastructure architecture, frameworks, technologies, tools and best practice.
- Public cloud technologies, eg AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud hosting and networking design patterns, tools and best practice.
- Windows, Linux and virtual operating system technologies and deployment design patterns, tools and best practice.
- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Serverless, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud-based application deployment technologies, design patterns, tools and best practice.
- Experience in strategic technology planning and execution, and policy development and maintenance.
This role is Inside IR35 so applicants must be willing to engage via an Umbrella company.
