SharePoint technician/implementation specialist (Remote)
Salary: £40 Per hour Inside IR35
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6 months + extension
The Role:
My client is looking for a SharePoint Technician to support the infrastructure to ensure stability performance and a scalable architecture. You will be a SharePoint SME for the team and ensure BAU, engineering function and project delivery are delivered in line with the department strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure assets ensuring the correct balance of proactive & reactive maintenance, to deliver optimum service levels
- Ensure Wintel Estate and related services are proactively monitored/tuned to maintain service availability and performance
- Resolve incidents and service requests within SLA's to deliver optimum service to the business with management of any third parties or partners
- Work with Service Delivery function to ensure the delivery into production of new or upgraded Wintel Infrastructure changes are carried out according to agreed quality processes and schedules
Desire Experience:
- Experience in managing SharePoint migration projects, ideally from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online.
- Microsoft 365 applications with a focus on Microsoft's Power Platform apps
- Designing, enhancing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Technologies (SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI)
- knowledge and understanding of SharePoint 2013 Sandbox solutions
- Experience in canvas app development with Azure SQL as data source using custom connectors
- Power Platform fundamentals PL900
- Experience of working with migration tools such as Metalogix/AvePoint
- Patch, vulnerability, and antivirus management
