IT Project Co-Ordinator and Change Practitioner

Role: Our client is one of the largest insurance brokers in Ireland. They are now one of the largest insurance brokers in Ireland with eleven offices in Cashel, Claremorris, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny, Mullingar, Portlaoise, Roscommon, Thurles, and Urlingford. Provide solutions to all their insurance needs ranging from home and motor insurance, to complex commercial business packages and we also provide a full range of health, life, pension, mortgage, and investment products.
Our client been in business over 35 years now and we are very proud of our many achievements during this time including winning the Deloitte's Best Managed Companies Award for 10 years running, reaching platinum standard.
They are looking for IT Project Co-ordinator and Change Practitioner. The role involves coordinating and implementing projects surrounding new processes and process improvements, working closely with the I.T. and Operations teams to ensure that projects are progressing as they should be.
Its 12month temporary contract role available in our IT department, reporting to Director of IT and Change. Ideal location is Dublin but we can be flexible.
The successful candidate will be provided with a comprehensive training programme.
Responsibilities:
-Testing, researching, and experimenting of new processes and applications
-Creating and maintaining PowerPoint and Visio documentation to document process flows and facilitate understanding of project issues
-Assessing potential issues and technical challenges and developing resolutions with stakeholders accordingly
-Communicating project progress to team members and other stakeholders
-Training and monitoring staff on new processes and supporting applications
-Owning and maintaining the library of documentation templates for Applied Relay ensuring quality and standardisation.
-Weekly analysis and reporting of ongoing initiatives e.g., ID-Pal (digital onboarding) stats
-Maintenance of ID-Pal online portal
-Ownership of Zurich edoc process.
-Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
-Good working knowledge of Applied Relay 360
-Proficient Microsoft Office skills
-Analytical & problem-solving abilities
-Presentation and training skills.
-Strong planning, organisational & multi-tasking skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work independently and on own initiative as well as part of a team environment
-Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the business including external parties
-Ability to prioritise workload and adhere to tight deadlines
-A dynamic and flexible attitude, as duties and demands may change from time to time
