Description
Application Technical Architect required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 6-month contract, paying £750 per day, inside IR35, remote (must be able to commute to Southampton for ad hoc meetings)
Active SC Clearance is required for this assignment
The responsibilities of the role and experience required include:
*Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools and standards.
*Cloud and infrastructure architecture, frameworks, technologies, tools and best practice.
*Public cloud technologies, eg AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud hosting and networking design patterns, tools and best practice.
*Windows, Linux and virtual operating system technologies and deployment design patterns, tools and best practice.
*Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Serverless, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud-based application deployment technologies, design patterns, tools and best practice.
*Experience in strategic technology planning and execution, and policy development and maintenance.
