Software Developer - Security Cleared
Lorien Global have partnered up with a Global IT service provider.
We are actively recruiting a security cleared software developer to join our client's team on a 3-month rolling contract.
This role will be working on site based working a combination of remotely and on site in Basingstoke, to meet customers and test when required.
Role Purpose:
- A security cleared Software Developer is required on the delivery of the GCITSM integration into the Customer Authority Common Integration Layer (CIL).
Key Responsibilities:
- The Software Developer works under the Development Manager and Support the Lead Technical Architect and will be involved in the coding within the development solution.
Other duties include:
- Input into Component Back log
- Estimate and input into the Sprint Plan.
- Report on task progress against sprint plan.
- Highlight any issues against development tasks
- Attendance at the daily stand ups
- Engagement and attendance at Risk Reviews
- Provide regular status reporting (minimum weekly) and engagement and attendance at weekly project reviews
- Working with Test and review Test cases where appropriate
- Working with Security to ensure design aligned with security and readiness for ITHC
- Ensure designs and processes are to an excellent standard
- Ensure IDM methodology followed
- Ensure best practice applied for API
- Input into production of test cases, where appropriate
- Review of Test Cases where appropriate
- Raise issues and identify risks to the Project manager
- Facilitate Early Life Support Planning
Key experience required:
- Proven experience in Service Transition
- Excellent communicator
- Experience of C# Sharp
- Excellent Coding skills
- Experience with Best Practice API
- Experience of working to aggressive timescales
- Experience of working in Agile Methodology
- Experience of ITIL processes
A VALID SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.
