On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
2 Software Engineer (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P0077
Tasks/responsibilities:
The Software Engineer has the skills to develop large and/or complex programs, incl. design, coding and testing. As part of the test responsibilities, the Software Engineer defines and creates test cases, executes test activities and reports on progress.
- Technical System Design, Development implementation, Unix testing and Acceptance Testing
- Integration and maintenance of the development related to the Continuous Integration Delivery DEVOPS toolchain and related infrastructure
- Functional and technical documentation and maintenance of the applications
- Working part of an IFS development unit reporting to a Development team leader
Mandatory skills and experiences:
- University degree or equivalent (Level 8) in a computer-based discipline
- The candidate must have at least 4 years of industrial experience with ideally several item amongst:
- Java technologies (Camel, Angular, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, RestAPI, EJB, JMS, MDB, JaxB, JPA, JSON
- Basics of Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL
- JavaEE Application Servers (Redhat EAP Jboss)
- Unit Testing and Acceptance testing Tools (Junit, Mockito, Jacoco, Fitnesse, Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber)
- Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maen, Articactory, intelliJ)
- Command Script development abd execution on Linus (ksh/bash)
- Basics of agile development (SCRUM, KanBAN)
- Analytical Skills using UML
- Speaking and writing English (Fluent enough)
- Knowledge of French will ease the communication
- The role would require working on development, support and maintenance activities and to be flexible when required
Additional information:
- Start date of assignment: January 2022
- Initial contract duration: till 30.12.2022 (3 months contract renewable)
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Luxembourg (20% can be worked remote)
