Functional Safety Engineer (Embedded, ISO26262, Automotive) - 12 Months - ASAP Start - Leuven, Remote
We've partnered with a Leuven based automotive company to help them find an experienced Functional Safety Engineer with a background in automotive Embedded development for a 12 month rolling contract. Essentially your role cooperating with internal departments and ensuring compliancy for software to ISO 26262 standard.
Whilst located in Leuven, this project can be completed 100% remotely after a 2 week on boarding period.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in the area of functional safety (ISO 26262 or ISO 61508).
- 5+ years of experience in Embedded development.
- Knowledge of formal design methods, design for testability.
- Basic understanding of hardware and electronics.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, CAN is beneficial
