Our client are recruiting an IT Programme Manager
The Programme Manager is responsible for the competent management, coordination and delivery of simultaneous projects. The duties will include the supervision and mentoring of the other Project Managers and specialist technical resources to ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance within best practice, agreed procedures, and to budget and deadline.
The role will be responsible for ensuring value for money, responsiveness, competent delivery and professionalism to the client.
Types of projects are as follows; -
Estates-led ICT projects: managing the ICT procurement and implementation (new PCs, WiFi, HSCN [WAN link], managed print services, LAN Switches, 3rd-party bespoke systems etc.) for new Health Centre buildings or extensions to exiting Health Centre buildings.
Cyber Initiative projects: working with customer organisations and internal subject matter experts to define requirements for remediating cyber security risks. Drafting costed project plans to implement security remediation.
Hardware replacement projects: managing a team of engineers to replace desktop PCs across CCG areas; managing risks & issues; reporting on progress vs. plan to project board senior stakeholders. Being responsible for orchestrating the communications to all affected stakeholders in the project.
