G-Cloud Platform Engineer
Location: Leatherhead/Home Hybrid
Duration: 6 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Rate: £600 - £640 a day

GCP Engineer: The role offers fantastic opportunities to work on leading edge and bespoke technologies within an interesting and highly rewarding environment. It will see you Integrating Open Source Communications Software (Matrix) into client environment and ensuring the solution is Scalable and Secure, and deployable through existing CI/CD pipelines using IaC.
Mandatory Requirements:
+ Extensive Google Cloud and Kubernetes experience
+ Demonstrable experience designing secure cloud solutions
+ Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stackdriver
+ Experience of using IaaC to deploy cloud resources (Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager)
+ Experience of using Linux as a deployment platform and day-to-day development environment - eg has experience of package management, networking configuration etc.
+ Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Chef.
+ Proficient in a modern Scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks.
+ Experience working within an Agile environment
