Description
Specifically, the role will entail:
- Working with the Security Architecture team and project stakeholders, perform an evaluation of external and internal solution options
- If applicable - work with the 3rd party to design and implement the solution
- Collaborate with each team to design an internal solution that enables us to:
- Capture use case events
- Send nudges in the form of MS Teams messages
- Store the events in a central repository as a source of reporting on the success of each use case
- Store the events in a central repository to enable machine learning/data science to help predict behaviors (longer term goal)
Key accountabilities
- Engagement with key stakeholders within DS, Architecture, external parties, and internal technical teams
- Review internal and external options, collate findings, and provide recommendations for approval by stakeholders
- Produce any necessary architectural deliverables, Architecture Vision, High-Level design, Detailed design etc.
- Lead the solution design in conjunction with the appropriate teams
- Ensure alignment of the project with DS and I&E standards and broader strategy
- Seek and gain approval for project architecture and solution design from project stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership and communication in order to resolve technical issues across the delivery teams, application owners and other stakeholders.
- Build and sustain credible relationships through liaison with segment architects, technical specialists, application managers, and delivery teams.
- Provides hands-on advice to management and project teams; Provides hands-on guidance in support technical and migration issues
- Support the development of the implementation plan as required
Essential experience and job requirements
- Experience working in geographically dispersed organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive technical skills in:
- Microsoft based Security technologies
- Microsoft Azure and M365 Security controls
- Microsoft O365 including Teams
- Microsoft Power Platform, Automate etc.
- Expertise in designing solutions that ingest and manipulate different datasets (including Real Time data) within a Data Lake environment.
- In-depth technical skills to perform effectively in a hybrid environment with multiple datacenters and multiple public cloud service providers
- A highly motivated self-starter. Must be able to maintain focus on achieving results, whilst being patient and pragmatic
- Must be an intelligent, articulate, and persuasive collaborator who can serve as an effective member of the project, who can communicate options to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience in presenting options and recommendations to various levels of stakeholder
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Lead or Solution architect position experience desirable.
- Ideally previous experience in understanding and influencing user Cyber behaviors
- Generates enthusiasm among team members.
- Works effectively with distributed team members
- Proactively seeks opportunities to move things forward.
