6 months My client, a global consultancy is currently looking to add an Azure Architect to work within their platform design and build team. The Azure Architect will be part of a team responsible for the design of an Azure platform and the Self-Service web portal used to deploy and manage applications across key clients The role requires an enthusiastic and driven individual who has a good understanding of a broad range of cloud and software development technologies. The role also requires extensive experience of the software development life cycle and designing software architectures using an agile DevOps approach.
Essential/Minimum Criteria
- An in depth understanding of designing and building green field Public Cloud solutions deployed using DevOps.
- An experienced Azure Cloud Architect with experience of solution design and building in Azure with a background in software development.
- Strong in software architecture and design with experience of having delivered significant software solutions on the cloud.
- Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Security Principles and its practical implementations
- Creating effective software architecture solutions, and delivery plans for deploying those solutions which include automated DevOps provisioning and deployment
- An ability to present solutions to clients and peers for review and assurance.
- Experience of creating solutions based on DevOps deployment and pipeline tools in Azure Cloud (for example Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible)
