Hiring: Sr Manager Buying & Demand Planning - Netherlands, 6 months, Freelance
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Senior Manager Buying & Demand Planning for an initial contract of 6 months with one of our key retail clients in the Netherlands.
You would be responsible for driving the longer term planning with 12 month forecasting which feeds seasonal and cross seasonal capacity planning, financial planning as well as material planning. You will have global responsibilities where international markets planning is done with the market regions next to the European regional planning for European warehouse and customers.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Sr Manager Buying & Demand Planning:
- Lead the global planning
- Operational supervision, direction setting and planning longer term KPI's
- Drive efficiency improvements by creating calendars capturing a general outline of global planning requirements with considering changing sourcing landscape, based on inputs from business stakeholders, sourcing hub leads and vendors
- Provide proposals on process improvements and adjustments on E2E planning
- Engage in projects related with planning both globally and regionally, either from a Buying & Demand Planning or cross-divisional perspective
- Drive efficiency improvement by analysing processes and best practices, pursuing effective structures and ways of working, and drive alignment across Buying & Demand Planning
The Sr Manager Buying & Demand Planning should have the following skill set:
- Good working experience in planning and team management
- Excellent management skill and leadership skills
- Experience in fashion industry
- High level of accuracy and strong analytical mindset
- Excellent PC knowledge in Excel
