Bristow Holland have an excellent opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join an organisation based in Norwich on a 6 month contract with a view for extensions paying up to £350 per day inside IR35.
The role of the IT Infrastructure Engineer is to project manage and deliver IT infrastructure related projects, provide third line support to users offering excellent customer service and supporting the department to ensure the successful delivery of IT services.
You will manage the operational aspects of the server and network infrastructure. You need to ensure that services are provided in a professional and cost-effective manner which meets the quality and contractual requirements and that the service operates within budgets agreed with clients and the Infrastructure Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully deliver of Infrastructure projects.
- Support and maintain core infrastructure.
- Providing 3rd line support.
- Complete daily check, project reporting and BAU Support.
- Resolve complex technical faults maximising the use of any resource available.
- Managing the core network, Routers and Switches as well as Firewalls.
- Carry out any other IT support and implementation duties as directed by the Head of IT.
- To manage infrastructure in accordance with industry best practice.
Key Skills:
- Office 365
- Exchange
- Windows Server
- Windows Desktop
- Office 365 experience
- Virtualization experience (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Experience with Networks eg Routers, Firewalls and Switches.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
In return you will receive a 6 month contract and day rate of up to £350 per day inside IR35.
