About the role
We are looking for a GIS Specialist/Technician to join our client's GIS team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the UK Engineering Manager in delivering integrated engineering consultancy services to our clients
- Working closely with the Engineering teams to deliver the full range of services that we offer
- Delivering technical solutions throughout the development cycle for upcoming Offshore Wind projects
- Implementing the policies, practices, and culture of the company.
About you
You will be an enthusiastic, organised, and talented professional who takes ownership of challenges and solutions.
You will have:
- Experience working on Offshore cable routing/pipeline projects
- 3 to 5 years' experience in geospatial field ideally with demonstrable experience in the use of a range of geological and marine data sets
- Relevant training and experience in the use of one or more geographical information systems - GIS software packages eg, ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise
- Experienced with alignment sheets
- Automation capabilities is considered an advantage, but not essential
- Experience in marine engineering projects is an advantage, particularly in Offshore wind.
Duration: 3 to 6 months - there is potential for extension
Daily rate: £300/day - Inside IR35
Location: Fully remote
