Are you an experienced Hadoop Data Engineer with a proven track record of migrating Legacy systems to the Cloud? We have a fresh requirement for a consultant to join an organisation at a critical path in their transformation.
This role can be 100% remote or hybrid from London.
Hadoop Core Skills
- Hortonworks
- Hive
- HBase
- Ambari Infra
- Ambari Metrics
- Knox
- Ranger
- Ranger KMS
- YARN
- MapReduce
- Postgres SQL administration experience
Hadoop nice to have experience
- Tez
- Pig
- Oozie
- ZooKeeper
Operating Systems
- Linux (Ubuntu 16.04/Redhat v7.9/CentOS v7.9)
- Windows Server 2012R2/2016
It would be beneficial and nice to have the following:
- Gitlab CI/CD Experience
- Azure Administration Experience
- Data Engineering experience with migrating data from Legacy systems to the cloud
- Data Workload analysis
- Python Experience for ETL
- Grafana/Prometheus Experience
- Excel/Qlik Sense Experience
