Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experience Azure Cloud Platform Engineer for their very well established client, the role is remote working.
Working as part of a large team you will be responsible for Cloud platform design within the Enterprise. Creation of low level design artefacts for technology services within the cloud platform.
Cloud Platform Engineer
Contract Length: 6 months
Day Rate: Negotiable Day Rate - Inside IR35
Location: Remote Working - occasional travel to Leeds
Key Responsibilities
Engagement within the Cloud Product Manager to implement the platform roadmap
Build of cloud platform components, using infrastructure and configuration as code practices
Governance of cloud builds, ensuring that 3rd party deliveries meet the cloud standards and operational best practice
Service improvement and development of the platform, promoting ease of use and efficiency for cloud platform consumers
Completion of ad-hoc service requests, implementing configuration change or build to cloud platform resources
L3 escalation for operational incidents within Cloud
Mentorship and technical development of the Site Reliability Engineers
Development of cloud standards, good practice and reference code examples
Technical capabilities - Azure Platform, Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub
