My Global Financial Services Client is currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure SME to join their Technical team based in Prague on a 12-Month + Contract.100% Remote- Open to EU and UK (Outside IR35) candidates only
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Maintaining configuration of infrastructure services, including modern services
- Supervise the development of the company's cloud capabilities (eg, cost management, architectural standards, practices, etc.)
- Identify pros/cons of cloud solutions to non-cloud alternatives in both general context and individual solutions (eg, on-prem, hybrid and public cloud, and outsourcing; I/P/SaaS)
- Collaborate with IT architects in the global team, govern assessment/decision making on infrastructure services-related requirements, recommend public/private cloud solutions
- Close collaboration with internal tech teams (infrastructure dept, development, platform functional teams) to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulation and compliance
- Over 5years hands-on experience in infrastructure services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, Consul, k8s
- Excellent Scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Shell)
- Overall knowledge of infrastructure trends (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
- Solid understanding of cloud computing, designing/migrating applications and other IT resources (eg, FE platforms, Servers, storages, networks) to cloud
- Hands-on experience in at least one of public cloud environments like Azure, AWS, Alibaba, GCP
- Ability to analyse risks, mandatory compliance associated with a solution (regulatory, security, technological, financial)
- Experience in research and recommending suitable services for change, to enable the migration to a cloud-based environment (good professional knowledge of costs, benefits and timescales involved is a must)
- Basic knowledge of security requirements and principles
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
