Role - Solutions Engineer
Location - London
Duration - 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
As a Solution Architect/Solution Engineer within Commercial Lab, you will be responsible and supporting the Digital IT transformation initiatives. You will be designing solutions keeping in mind the Lab's vision of creating a best online platform for our customers to make their day to day banking simpler.
What we need from you:
- Thorough knowledge of solution architecture best practices and demonstrable track record of application in a variety of organisations
- Previous experience in a Solution Design, Technical Lead or Architect Role is essential with the ability to translate user requirements into detailed design artefacts.
- Expertise across architecture domains such as business, applications, information, infrastructure, integration and security
- Expertise across technology domains such as cloud, API, micro-services etc.
- Experience in the use of cloud technologies, cloud strategies and in architecting solutions for the cloud (preferable).
- Expertise in developing cloud native or hybrid architectures in GCP, Oracle Cloud and/or Azure
- Demonstrate knowledge of integration technologies and services, with the ability to design integration architectures (desirable).
- Ensuring project success through timely and accurate production of agreed deliverables.
- Ability to successfully relate technology solutions to business problems and sell ideas.
- Proven capability in providing technology leadership, delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology advice; you will ensure project success through timely and accurate production of agreed deliverables.
- Shaping, leading and delivering value through technology advisory consultancy and through guiding transformational delivery engagements
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills at senior levels that will enable consensus building and shaping technology direction
Experience criteria:
- Experience in executing solution architecture engagements across multiple organisations.
- Experience in working across multiple industry sectors (preferable)
- Experience of working on digital transformations is highly desirable
- Experience of working across varied technology domains such as Business Applications, Data, Infrastructure, Integration and Security
- Experience in the use of cloud technologies, cloud strategies and in development of cloud native architectures (preferable).
- Experience in security architectures, digital security and application/network/cloud security
- Experience in senior stakeholder management
