Our client, a leading global consultancy is looking for a Solution Architect- Application Security (Banking - Cybersecurity) on a contract basis, initial 6 months, likely to extend.

*Please note that this role is inside IR35*.

Roles & Responsibilities: -

  • Create and implement a Cybersecurity Strategy; driving positive change and transform the function
  • Attract and develop talent to improve functional expertise and individual capabilities
  • Provide timely and quality advice to the business and shape the IT Strategy
  • Experience developing solution designs, patterns, requirements, threat modelling, and determining risk.
  • Experience implementing and supporting application security capabilities in a global enterprise.
  • Experience designing and architecting the use of application security tools and controls in a global enterprise.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SAST, DAST, RASP, and IAST tools and processes.
  • Experience building security into existing SDLC processes.
  • Experience implementing and supporting vulnerability management capabilities in a global enterprise.
  • Experience designing the use of vulnerability management tools and controls in a global enterprise.
  • Experience implementing and supporting vulnerability scanning, centralized reporting, configuration baseline assessment and patching tools and processes.
  • Experience translating technical vulnerabilities into material business risk.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate the conceptual and logical design of holistic enterprise security solutions.
  • Experience creating and presenting architecture strategies, roadmaps, and design patterns for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading and delivering Cybersecurity projects.
  • Create synergy across the business by building effective working relationships and provide service excellence
  • Lead security innovation, work with industry leaders to transform our security capabilities
  • Foster a healthy culture where people are supported and empowered to reach their full potential
  • Build a globally connected Cybersecurity community who are passionate about defending the bank and safeguarding our customers
  • Familiar with standard IT engineering and architecture frameworks and practices.
  • Ability to work with others in teams and sharing analysis and collaborating on problems to resolution.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure with tight timelines on a globally distributed team.
  • Ability to perform complex risk assessments and threat modelling to support new technologies or design pattern.
  • Grow effective partnerships to understand and respond to the Cyberthreat landscape
  • Possess a deep technical understanding and can demonstrate the ability to apply security related knowledge for practical and timely outcomes.
