Solutions Architect - SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, PowerApps, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure
Our global law firm client are looking to recruit a Solutions Architect (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, PowerApps, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure) on a 6 months contract basis to be responsible for the design, development and supporting the planned delivery of technical solutions for use globally by both the firm and their clients.
The right Solutions Architect (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, PowerApps, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure) will be expected to have a deep understanding and of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and Hybrid cloud technologies with a particularly deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and the Power Platform. The Solutions Architect will be expected to represent the Strategy & Architecture teams on a number of the firms projects.

- Be seen as the clear technical lead in assigned business projects. Provide subject matter expertise to projects and design governance boards.
- Assist in ensuring that solutions continue to support the adoption of Legal Technology building on the current in-house development function and IT Strategy.
- Ensure that all strategy, architecture, standards, patterns, principles and roadmaps are kept current and fully understood by all relevant teams within the firm.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation as artefacts that relate to infrastructure topology, architectural designs, patterns, principles and standards and technology selection.
- Ensure that new products and services meet standard non-functional requirements for all integrations, development tooling and code management, testing and deployment tooling.
- Assist in continual research on new software and working practices to remain abreast of developments in across the IT industry in multiple verticals and not just Legal.
- Advise and architect solutions designs to ensure their smooth deployment and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Previous knowledge/experience required:
- Previous experience as a Developer ideally managing a team to deploy and continuously deliver and enhance applications leveraging CI/CD practices.
- Proven experience and a deep understanding of designing and creating solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, PowerApps and PowerBI.
- Proven experience of modern API Management services and micro services architecture.
- Thorough knowledge of applications integrations and the API economy.
- Hands on and design experience of services to Microsoft Azure leveraging services like Logic Apps, Durable Functions, APIM, Containers and other PaaS type services.
- Experience in leveraging both SQL, GraphDB and Document Databases and Data Architectural standards.
- Experience in leveraging AzureAD for both user and machine-based authentication and authorization.
- Experience of development languages such as C#.NET as well as Javascript platforms such as AngularJS and NodeJS.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Minimum 10 Years in IT, 5 Years in an Architectural role
