Infrastructure Architect (Azure/Server/ISO27001)
PLEASE NOTE: This contract falls inside IR35.
The Infrastructure Architect role if focussed into 4 main areas future solutions, project delivery, constant improvement in systems and security defences and critical incident support.
The successful candidate will fulfil a varied role driving design, solution and implementation of new technology, security and information systems. You will also provide solution design and hands on expert level technical project resource to a variety of projects on infrastructure, security and business applications.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and align into departmental Strategy and Architecture roadmap for new
applications and existing OS, app, infrastructure life cycles.
- Create detailed plans for the integration of new systems architecture into existing infrastructure.
- New system design to include a transition path to cloud were possible.
- Understand current and emerging security threats. Working with ISO27001 and ISO22301 accreditations and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
- TOGAF Certification (desirable).
- Understanding of Agile and Prince2 methodologies.
- Experienced in ITIL processes.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server (up to 2019), Active Directory (multi site), Exchange, Office 365, VMware, MS Azure, Citrix and Networking.
