Contract opportunity available for ambitious and critical technology projects: to migrate a large proportion of over 1000 applications to public cloud infrastructure and managed services.
You'll collaborate with global IT teams across the sector to help them on their cloud migration journey, and engineer common, re-usable solutions that can be used to accelerate cloud adoption across the organisation.

Your team
This position is working in an investment banking area and will be a key part of a 7 person team driving adoption of cloud. The teams will be based in Krakow predominantly with some members in London and Pune. Our role is to accelerate IB Technology teams' adoption of cloud, delivering the firsts' (build deploy pipeline, containers, database, logging, monitoring, security), delivering an end to end slice into production and drive strategic architecture on public cloud services. The team is also responsible for co-delivering/consulting and upskilling other application team members to implement the foundations for success.

- Gitlab experience essential
- Terraform experience essential, ARM a benefit
- Provisioning Azure PaaS, IaaS services experience essential
- AKS (azure Kubernetes Services), Vault experience a benefit
- Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins experience a benefit
Additional skills/nice to have
Azure SA: Can Design, Build and deploy Application Services from scratch on Azure and be SME to guide others
- Real-world dev team lead/architect who has built solutions on Azure platform essential
- Azure Cloud architecting around PaaS & IaaS services experience essential
- Previous hands on experience of migrating on premise to Azure services beneficial
- Experienced Developer in Java/.NET historically or current
- Deployment experience using DevOps essential - Gitlab preference, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Teamcity, Azure DevOps a benefit
- AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm a requirement
- IaC - Terraform/ARM experience benefits
