DevOps Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance + experience of AWS Cloud environments. 6 Month Rolling Contract. Outside IR35. Start ASAP in Feb 2022.
A chance to work with a leading global digital transformation business delivering long-term IT modernisation projects for large-scale Government/Public Sector organisations.
Key skills, experience + tasks will include:
- Diagnosing/trouble-shooting deployment issues for an existing fully automated CI/CD micro-services infrastructure solution.
- Migrating native applications to Cloud using AWS Cloud, Docker + Kubernetes (EKS).
- Experience of large-scale implementations/deployments for automated Continuous Deployment (CD) + Continuous Integration (CI) solutions.
- Strong AWS Cloud experience including: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB + Autoscaling.
- In-depth experience of creating automation frameworks using Ansible + Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) + creating reusable pipelines using Jenkins.
- Tooling: AWS EC2, S3, Kubernetes (EKS), Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Linux, GitLab.
- Scripting languages: Python, Perl, Groovy + Shell.
- Advantageous Skills: Agile, Jira, Atlassian, Artifactory, Hashicorp Packer, Hashicorp Vault, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Elastic Stack, AppDynamics + Agile methods.
