Are you specialized in Linux and looking for your next step to take the lead in this? My client is looking to ambitiously growth their objectives, you'll be part of the Mission Critical Team, where you can use your technical skills broadly.As a Mission Critical Engineer, you'll be responsible for monitoring the performance and continuity of their infrastructure and you analyse the possibilities in accordance with the customer requirements. Besides that, you will also be managing network, server and storage infrastructure remotely. As a T-shaped engineer you help your colleagues within the team to deepen and broaden their network knowledge.
For this role you need to have experience with:
- System Administration of Linux, Windows, VMWare, storage, backup and networking.
- Microsoft Enterprise and VMware environments
- Service Desk or remote customer support with ITIL methodologies knowledge
- Experience with IBM AIX is a plus
Who are you?
- You have a completed IT degree
- You have SUSE, Red Hat or LPIC certification or you're willing to obtain them quickly
- You have good command of English OR Dutch
- You take initiative and are eager to learn
