New role! People Services Manager based in the Netherlands

We are looking for a People Services Manager based in the Netherlands with 3+ years of experience in team management in a multi-country service environment. The key responsibilities of the role include HR operational team management, covering the employee lifecycle and pay processes within a complex organization. The ideal candidate for this role has n depth knowledge of employment law and ACAS & UVW.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop an international team.
  • Drive a strong service delivery ethic focusing on an optimal employee experience.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement, always with the employee experience at the core of decision making.
  • Responsible for all aspects of activity ensuring compliancy with policies and relevant local Government legislation.
  • Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work.
  • Liaise with other HR functions to ensure appropriate team support where required (e.g., Talent Management, Learning and Development, Global Mobility, Global Reward, etc.) within agreed timeframes.
  • Use a data driven approach to determine root causes and to identify repetitive issues and opportunities to improve.
  • Engage with senior management where required to resolve issues or deal with escalations.


Must have skills:
  • Team management experience in a multi-country service environment.
  • Proven HR operational team management experience, covering the employee lifecycle and pay processes within a complex organization.
  • Experienced in the use of data management, metrics and analytics to drive decision making.
  • Demonstrable customer relationship and customer service skills.
  • In depth knowledge of employment law and ACAS & UVW direction.
  • A comprehensive understanding of how employee relations need to be managed.
  • Demonstrable senior stakeholder management.
  • Able to fully utilise standard Microsoft Office products and other HR systems and workflow/case management tools.


Nice to have skills:
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Oracle Service Cloud & Workday.
  • The United Kingdom and Netherlands HR experience; understanding of United States environment is a plus.
