Your working area & responsibilities
Lead the DC operations and handle operations of all the Datacenters across Germany
• DC Operations and Maintenance of Large DC facilities acquired from customer including electrical, cooling, LAN, Safety and Security system, DC integrated Building Management system components.
• Provide consultancy for all the DC related Facilities and implementations including migration of the services / Infrastructure between the various Datacenter locations
• Travelling to different sites / DC’s within Germany and Europe for regular DC operations, to participate and Support audits and certifications around the Datacenter (e.g. TÜV, IASE)
• Regular meetings with facility provider, discuss open topics and give guidance on needed activities, interpreted reports
• Escalation Management: To Discuss & Close any Escalations during presales and Project delivery
• Vendor Management for Datacenter facilities and Datacenter services
• Verifying the BOM for all DC needed procurements, Interface between facility provider and procurement (bridge lingual and technical gaps)
• Authorizing, scheduling and facilitating the timely visits by Customer or its authorized designee hardware technicians for the purpose of accessing and performing work on Customer Equipment at data Centres and escorting Customer or its authorized designee hardware technicians to and from the affected Equipment.
• Optimization of procedures/processes, tools, contracts, technology
• Maintain work instructions, regular steering meeting, interview of possible new members
• Organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating the overall effort for all the people at sites who shall manage the Operations and Maintenance of Datacenter
• Planning of implemented assets, instruct Technician for cable execution, documentation of assets and cables in DC Management Database, Maintain Tool (DC Mgmt. DB)
• Organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating the overall effort for all the people at sites who shall manage the Operations and Maintenance of Datacenter
• Maintain coordinated processes for shared or third-party services restricting access in any such shared environment to customer’s confidential information so that such third party or Supplier personnel not involved in providing the Services do not have access to Customer confidential information or systems by means of a Customer-authorized two-way authentication.
• Analytics and reporting based on defined requirement and SLA’s.

Your skillset
• Having good experience in DC Operations and Maintenance of Large DC facilities
• Having good Knowledge of DC electrical, cooling, LAN, Safety and Security system, DC integrated Building Management system components.
• Having experience of DC migration of the services / Infrastructure between the various Datacenter locations.
• DC vendor management.
• Analytics and reporting based on defined requirement and SLA’s.
• English fluency is mandatory
• German proficiency nice to have
