Description

I am currently working with a client in the energy and electricity sector in their search for an IT Project Manager. The end client is one of the most reutable in their sector and are known globally. Threy have won numerous awards for their working environment. They are an exciting client to work for who can offer long term engagement for the right candidate.

DESCRIPTION - Senior Profile (Project Manager)

As project management entity and pilot of the ACD project, the DT wishes to expand the system

organization of the project through an AMOA service, with support for the project manager and a

project batch pilot.

Technical and functional support activities for the development of the solution (support for Product

owner):
  • support on the design and development of the solution: expression of need
  • and/or assistance in expressing needs (interviews, facilitation of workshops, writing
  • of requirements, User Stories, intermediate and final documents, feedback collection user…)
  • Support in the definition and management of the product backlog
  • Advice or support for the instruction of technical subjects, contact and instruction of questions with stakeholders
  • Assistance in the analysis of technical proposals and the choice of solutions
  • Coordination with the Holder's back office for specific technical needs (examples: Microsoft Office skills, Adobe Acrobat, JIRA…). Support should be force of proposal to activate the skills of the back office
  • Monitoring and alert duty on the integration


Mission B: Management of project batches

In line with the guidelines defined by the project manager, particularly during the scoping phase,
and in consultation with the latter, the Holder bears certain lots (as defined in the subdivision of the
project) and takes charge of related activities. These are the following lots and activities:

Change management package:
  • Proposes a change management strategy, then implements it after validation
  • Proposes and implements monitoring of change management (indicators, milestones, etc.)
  • Consolidates the analysis of the impacts of the solution, for the transient mode and the mode persistent
  • Identifies the projects to be implemented in relation to the impacts of the solution and proposes an organization to respond to them; sends alerts in case of difficulties
  • Consolidates and completes the deployment strategy of the solution anticipated during the phase framing (deployment with pilot users before generalized deployment, etc.) and implement it
  • Identifies the support needs in the units and proposes an organization to respond to them (relay users, local pilots, etc.)
  • Identify, mobilize and support the necessary resources locally
  • Proposes an assistance organization sized to meet the needs
  • Defines and implements the training program, relying if necessary on the existing services
  • Defines and implements a communication plan, writes supports (kit of deployment, articles, etc.), organizes and leads communication events (webinars, presentations…)
  • Defines, produces or has produced user supports (FAQ, memo sheets, manual user etc)
  • Collect REX elements on the change management lot, to feed the REX of the project
  • Proposes a plan for the sustainability of change management
  • Supports the project manager in collecting the benefits of the project (measurement of satisfaction user and the anchoring of practices in particular).


Lot passage in MCO and permanent organization:
  • Ensures that the changes induced by the project are part of the policy of governance of the documentary MOA of the nuclear sector, or alerts the project team to inconsistencies and proposes governance adjustments
  • Identifies the development needs of the documentary rules related to the evolution of the IS and the new documentary practices induced (for example: management of rights, archiving policy including retention period, business data governance, lists of values, typical products, masks)
  • Ensures that the rules are implemented in the divisions and entities of the nuclear industry
  • Alert in case of conflict or discrepancy between the solution and the rules in place
  • Ientifies the impacts on the organization of the RUN and the administration of the documentary IS (example: documentary assistance)
  • Proposes and validates a Business/MOA/MOE organization (including the local administration and national) during transitional periods and in permanent mode (RUN support): business committees, associated actors, tools, rules and methods


Functional recipe batch:
  • Defines the acceptance strategy of the project
  • Prepares and updates test plans and test heritage in the tool dedicated to the recipe (Space dedicated to the project on JIRA)
  • Identifies the prerequisites of the functional recipe: environments, test users and rights, data, documents, jobs, information to be collected at the end of the tests, etc.
  • Manages, organizes and animates the Business recipe (scheduling, planning of tests, resource mobilization and support)
  • Participates punctually in the execution of the recipe (running of the tests)
  • Follow up on anomalies (verification of the quality of the elements reported by the testers, follow-up of the states of the tickets until the correction)
  • Makes a progress report of the acceptance and alert in case of difficulties
  • Is responsible for writing recipe minutes
  • Collects REX elements on the recipe batch, to feed the REX of the project.
