Description
We are looking for customer-focused and enthusiastic Installations, Moves & Collections (IMAC) Engineer to work as part of a service on an ad-hoc basis in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Applicants must be available to start W/C 16th May 2022
Applicants should be technically competent, possess good written and verbal communication skills and be willing to collaborate with the wider IT support teams.
This role is a contract opportunity (outside IR35) offering £155.00 per day.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Desktop installations
IT equipment moves
Network patching (Ethernet and Fibre)
Ticket management via the customers ticketing management systems
Asset Management
Essential skills/qualifications:
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Windows 7/10 Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Packages
- Working knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure
- Be able to deliver work on time or communicate that you're not on target
- Demonstrate good organisational skills, reliability and conscientiousness
- Able to work under pressure and use your own initiative
