Your role as a Service Desk Engineer:
- You will be working on a variety of hardware, software and application incidents and requests
- In-depth toubleshooting, resolving incidents and fulfilling Work Orders in line with Service Level Agreements
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance to customers & colleagues
- Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely resolution to customer incidents
- IMAC and Project work, which may include uplifting equipment
- Knowledge transfer between team and other stakeholders
- Following Software Asset Management guidelines and processes
- Fix/rebuild devices
- Troubleshooting of current mobile telecommunications technology and Microsoft operating systems
- Device deployments and software installations
- Vendor liaisons
Skills - Desktop Engineer
- Full driving licence & own vehicle required
- Proven technical skills within a Desktop environment
- Ability to assess, interpret and apply known skills to a range of site based problems that may arise
- Good understanding of Operating systems, network products and the most commonly used office software application packages
- Significant practical Hardware break/fix experience, desktop, laptop, tablet and printers
- Good Customer facing skills
- Effective communication skills
