Your Skills
- More than 8 years of project experience in planning / solution consulting for IT Networks and Segmentation
- At least 2 years project management experience
- Siemens experience from earlier project would be a plus
- Proven experience in the coordination of technical teams
- Good written and spoken German & English language skills
- Broad overall IT Infrastructure (Network, Datacenter, Clients) knowledge o Firewall technology & products (Checkpoint) o Firewall policy mgmt. (Tufin) o Firewall log analysis & management (ElasticSearch) o IP Protocols o Application fundamentalso LAN, WAN, WiFi o Internet Access o Remote Access (ZPA) o Business Partner Access (BPA)
Your Tasks
- The Global IT Solution Architect – Network Firewall (m/f/d) is responsible for the overall technical solution of the Network / Firewall area within an IT Infrastructure setup of a large global company
- He is responsible for the Solution Design and Implementation consulting
- Check & optimize the FMO solution in critical cases
- Create new general network solutions for various problems with applications and dependencies of existing solutions in consultation with the suppliers
- Help solving network issues
- Support with guidance for the Firewall team and Application owners regarding Firewall rule sets
- Technical support of creating processes
- Working closely with the Project Manager responsible for the Network / Connectivity Pillar of an IT Infrastructure Carve-out project
- Working closely with Cyber Security Team
