- Atlassian Engineer/Jira Technical Specialist
- £500 - £550/day
- 6-month Contract - Outside IR35
- UK - Fully Remote
A market leading, global business is in need of a highly skilled and accomplished Atlassian Engineer/Jira Technical Specialist to play a key role.
The Atlassian Engineer/Jira Technical Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing engineering, delivery, and support of the entire Jira and Atlassian technology stack, both within existing ecosystems, as well as delivering to completely new areas of the business.
Reporting into the Atlassian Technical Lead, the Atlassian Engineer/Jira Technical Specialist will work across the full design and implementation life cycle, whilst also contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Jira platform, by utilising new functionalities and enhancements in tooling.
Key Skills:
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience with Jira/Atlassian
- Significant experience within technical engineering and/or systems development
- Infrastructure background with Servers, Databasaes, Stroage, Backups, Networking etc...
- Experience working in a technical role across the full technology life cycle, including working on new and existing systems
- Strong comms and stakeholder management skills - acting as a Jira champion across the business
- Experience working in enterprise scale environments with users across multiple locations
- Additional technical skills in Linux systems administration would be advantageous
