As a Technical Architect, you'll bring expert knowledge of application architecture, infrastructure architecture and data architecture. You'll also have significant experience in modern software patterns and micro-services paradigm.

We'll also want to see:

  • Ideally a broad understanding of the financial services environment and regulatory frameworks.
  • An expert understanding of external influences and advances that impact design. A clear logical approach to problem identification and analysis always minimising risk. A strong problem solver.
  • A structured approach to work, self-organised and adaptable to varying demands in workload.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to achieve a common purpose. Ability to maintain composure in a high pressure work environment.
  • Ability to clearly document high and low level designs for application and infrastructure domains.

Desirable skills:

  • Good understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) domain, with knowledge of related standards eg SAML, SCIM and OAuth.
  • Hands-on experience of Ping Identity products; including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory and PingDataGovernance.
  • Understanding of PKI, LDAP & Single Sign On Technologies.
  • Strong experience and understanding of cloud virtual infrastructure and cloud migration.
  • Microservices architecture & design using REST.
  • Experience designing or implementing APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Web Security - Web Application Firewalls & API Security Gateway.
  • Experience of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Experience with designing container based solutions using cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift and Docker.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning - IaaS & Automating application delivery - PaaS.
  • XML, XSLT and SOAP technologies - CA Layer 7, Apigee, IBM DataPower.
