Azure Solution Architect
6 Month initial contract
£565 Per day (Inside IR35)
Remote with occasional travel to London
My client in the insurance industry are looking for an Azure Solution Architect to join their fast paced team on an initial 6 month contract.
Job description:
As a Solutions Architect you will evaluate business requirements and come up with solutions in the form of products or services. You will also maintain and evolve exiting solution designs. When moving to the implementation phase you will oversee workstreams to ensure the implementation follows the design. You are expected to introduce and successfully implement new technology solutions.
Task assignments:
Designing and implementing private, public, or hybrid cloud solutions
Designing, implementing, and securing resources including Azure Active Directory, Azure App Service Apps, and Virtual Networks
Designing networking and security solutions
Designing and implementing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure Active Directory
Oversee technical teams to ensure their work aligns with the solution architecture
Coordinate ongoing activities and translate the design concept to IT operations
Valued:
Creating and managing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) virtual machines
Designing and implementing Azure Stack capabilities
Knowledge of or an interest in one or more of the following: Azure PowerShell, CLI, Visual Studio, Python, Ruby or Terraform
Envision and deploy modern identity solutions such as Azure AD MFA, Azure AD Conditional Access, Azure AD Privileged Identity Management, Azure AD B2B and Azure AD Application Proxy
Azure Security Services including Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Information Protection, Azure Security Centre, and Azure Log Analytics
Certifications: Azure Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
