Third Line Support - SC Cleared

Target Rate: £450 a day

IR35 Determination: Inside IR35

Clearance: SC Clearance required

Location: Derby (however largely remote)

Duration: 6 months

Third Line Support: You will join a leading IT consultancy and will join a large team supporting diverse and geographically spread Wintel customer environments. This role will be primarily focused on delivering a BAU/Project services within a shared service delivery model. The role will see you designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms as well as offering solutions and workarounds to incidents/problems.

Your skills and experience:

  • Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019) - including server core

  • Core Windows infrastructure components (DHCP, Windows failover clustering, etc.)

  • Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms

  • Active Directory experience: Group Policy Objects (GPO), Forests, Domains, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP and Kerberos

  • Azure AD technologies including Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Azure SSO and PIM

  • Understands the interdependency between Active Directory and DNS

  • PKI and Certificate Management

  • Microsoft Identity Management (FIM/MIM)

  • Quest Tools (Active Roles, Change Auditor, Recovery Manager, InTrust, Password Manager)

  • Anti-virus technologies (McAfee ePO, ENS, VSE, HIPS and DLP, MS SCEP, Symantec SEP, etc.)

  • Server hardware including HP, Dell, IBM and Cisco UCS

  • Scripting (PowerShell, VB, etc.)
