Desktop Support Engineer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires Desktop Support Engineer, to be based in their client's office in Dublin, Ireland.
This is a temporary contract to start ASAP.
Day rate - Competitive Market Rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot laptop/desktop related issues
- Install OS and applications on end user devices
- Work on incidents/Tasks
- Windows 10 technical support
- Manage incidents through Service Now
- Supporting users in the office and remotely using various remote tools.
- Hardware break fix for DELL Laptops
- Supporting MS Office/O365 defect handling
- Identify and resolve technical problems predominantly for Windows 10 Dell Laptops.
- Troubleshooting issues with devices connecting to the Wifi and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones).
Experience and Skills
- 8-12 years in Desktop Support
- Good knowledge of Windows 10 OS
- Experience of using SCCM, Using Jump Servers, 0365, Intune and GoToAssist.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of AD, computer networks & computer hardware
- Good communication & problem-solving skills
- Flexible working hours as per business requirements
- Experience of working on a site on your own.
- Client facing skills.
