Infra Tech Architect | 3 months | On Site | INSIDE IR35
Jefferson Frank are currently supporting one of the largest IT and Business consulting services in the pursuit of an experienced SC Cleared Infra Tech Architect/Networks SME to work for their Government/Utilities and Energy end clients.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE!
Project Technical Architect role is to be a subject matter expert in their chosen discipline.
Define, validate and cost solution for projects and bids in scope with customer requirements
Provide leadership within the technical and project teams.
Key Activities
The role of the Project Technical Architect is to:
* Develop and own Low-Level Designs in line with High Level Designs.
* Carry out peer review of LLDs
* Lead Technology Focus Groups to advise on best practices.
* Provide pre-sales support and cost estimates on designs, transitions and implementations.
* Mentoring to enable knowledge and skill transfer to less experienced colleagues
* Provide On-Call and perform Out of hours change work.
* Keep up to date with emerging technologies
* Provided solution governance within the infrastructure development life cycle
Requirements:
* Cisco
* Firewalls
* Experience of more than 3 Unix/Linux operating systems.
* Infrastructure architecture
* Oracle VM/VMware
* Technical Architecture
